Site Description
The property of Universal Warehouse is triangular in shape, 19 acres in size and
surrounded by 8 foot high chain link fence with razor wire. There is only one entrance and
one exit onto the property. The main building is 230,000 square feet with 30 foot high
ceilings. 18,000 square feet are allocated to U.S. Customs bonded warehousing and bonded
CFS operations. There are 50 warehouse truck positions and a 6 car Southern Pacific/Union
Pacific rail spur for box car transloading.
We have positioned 24-hour surveillance cameras within the warehouse and dock areas.
The fire sprinkler system has a density of .45/300. The ISO property rating bureau has
classified the Universal facility with fire protection class 03.
For multiple SKU retail merchandise, UWC has 40,000 square feet of racked area. We utilize
a narrow aisle, 5 high racking system equipped with an electronic guidance system.
Should you require additional warehouse space, UWC can also provide off-site warehousing,
managed by our own skilled personnel. |
